If you're here for the Binance Visa crypto card with "up to 8% BNB cashback," the headline first: that card has been discontinued. This page explains exactly what happened, what (if anything) replaced it in your region, and the best live alternatives for spending crypto in 2026.
What happened to the Binance Card?
The original Binance Card was a Visa debit card that converted your Binance crypto balance to fiat at the point of sale, with tiered cashback (up to 8% in BNB) based on how much BNB you staked. It has been wound down in every major market:
- EEA (all EU/EEA countries) and the UK: discontinued in December 2023, after Visa ended the partnership.
- Latin America and the Middle East: discontinued in September 2023, when the Mastercard partnership ended (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Bahrain and others).
- United States: the card was never available.
So the 8% BNB-cashback Visa card no longer exists anywhere. If you still have an old card, treat it as inactive and move your spending to one of the alternatives below.
Is there a new Binance card?
Yes — but with big caveats. Around late 2025 Binance launched a new prepaid Mastercard in a limited set of markets (selected Asia-Pacific, Latin America, CIS and Middle East/Africa countries). It is not available in the EEA, the UK or the US. Cashback is far lower than the old card (roughly up to 2–3%, region-dependent, with no BNB-staking tiers). If you're in a country where it's offered, check Binance's official app for the exact current terms — they vary by region and change often.
For most readers of this site (Europe, UK, US), the practical answer is: the Binance card isn't an option. Binance's own focus for spending has shifted to Binance Pay (contactless and online crypto payments at partner merchants), which is not a one-to-one replacement for a debit card.
Best Binance Card alternatives in 2026
1. Crypto.com Visa Card — best live crypto card
The Crypto.com Visa card is the most direct replacement: a prepaid Visa, available across the EEA, UK and US, that lets you spend a crypto-funded balance. Cashback is staking-based (up to 5% on the top tier in 2026; most users land in the 0–3% range), so read our full review for the current tiers before committing any capital to CRO.
2. Revolut — best all-round (banking + crypto in one app)
If what you really want is crypto and everyday banking, Revolut lets you buy and hold 280+ tokens alongside a euro account, a card and travel features. You can't spend crypto directly on the card, but you can convert to fiat and spend that — and it's available far more widely than any Binance card.
3. Other crypto cards
See our best crypto cards roundup for the current shortlist, and Crypto.com vs Binance if you're choosing between the two exchanges (both are alive and well — it's only Binance's card that's gone).
A note on Binance the exchange
To be clear: Binance the exchange is still operating and is one of the largest in the world. It's only the debit card product that was discontinued in these regions. If you trade on Binance, that's unaffected — you simply can't get the Visa card anymore.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Binance Card still available in 2026?
The original Binance Visa card was discontinued in the EEA and UK (December 2023) and in Latin America and the Middle East (September 2023). A new, lower-cashback Binance Mastercard launched in some Asia-Pacific, LatAm, CIS and MEA markets in 2025, but it is not available in the EEA, UK or US.
Does the Binance Card still offer 8% cashback?
No. The tiered "up to 8% in BNB" cashback ended with the original Visa card. The new regional Mastercard offers much lower cashback (around 2–3%, depending on region) with no BNB-staking tiers.
What's the best alternative to the Binance Card?
For most people, the Crypto.com Visa card is the closest live replacement, or Revolut if you want crypto and banking in one app. See our best crypto cards roundup for the full list.
Is Binance the exchange shutting down too?
No. Only the debit card was discontinued in these regions. Binance remains one of the largest crypto exchanges and continues to operate.
